WHAT WE DO

Main areas of our focus

Protection of Biological Diversity

The protection of biological diversity is essential to maintaining the balance of ecosystems and ensuring the sustainability of our planet's natural resources. Biodiversity conservation involves the preservation, management, and restoration of ecosystems, species, and genetic diversity to support both ecological integrity and sustainable development.

In recent years, biodiversity loss has accelerated at an alarming rate. The World Wildlife Fund's 2022 Living Planet Report revealed that global wildlife populations have declined by an average of 69% since 1970, largely due to habitat destruction, climate change, pollution, and unsustainable practices. This decline threatens ecosystems' ability to provide critical services such as clean water, fertile soil, and carbon sequestration, all of which are vital for human survival.

Medical & Education

Medical Education for Help and Prevention

Our NGO focuses on providing essential medical education to support preventive healthcare across communities. Through regular health screenings, check-ups, and patient counseling, we aim to prevent illnesses, diseases, and other health complications. By promoting early detection and health awareness, we empower individuals to take proactive steps in maintaining their well-being and improving overall public health outcomes.

Rural Business Development

Our Rural Business Development initiative focuses on empowering entrepreneurs in rural communities by providing them with the tools, training, and resources necessary to start and sustain successful businesses. We aim to bridge the gap between urban and rural economic opportunities, offering access to markets, funding, mentorship, and business education. By fostering innovation and growth in these regions, we strive to create jobs, reduce poverty, and stimulate sustainable economic development at the grassroots level.

Food Development Systems

1. Introduction to Food Development Systems for Africa
The "Food Development Systems for Africa" initiative is designed to tackle food insecurity by enhancing agricultural practices, improving food production systems, and ensuring sustainable access to nutritious food across the continent. Through innovation and collaboration, we aim to empower local communities to address hunger and malnutrition at the grassroots level.

2. Sustainable Agriculture and Local Empowerment
Our program focuses on promoting sustainable agricultural techniques tailored to the unique environmental conditions across Africa. By training farmers in modern, eco-friendly farming practices and providing access to resources like seeds, tools, and technology, we support communities in producing their own food and reducing dependency on imports.

3. Food Security and Nutrition Programs
At the core of our initiative is the fight against hunger and malnutrition. We implement food security programs that ensure vulnerable populations, particularly women and children, have consistent access to healthy, nutrient-rich food. Our nutrition education efforts teach communities about balanced diets and food safety to promote long-term health.

4. Infrastructure Development and Market Access
Building strong infrastructure is essential for a sustainable food system. We work with local governments and partners to improve transportation, storage, and market access for farmers. By facilitating the distribution of locally produced food, we help ensure that communities can access affordable food and that farmers receive fair compensation for their work.

5. Climate Resilience and Environmental Stewardship
Climate change is one of the greatest threats to food security in Africa. Our program promotes climate-resilient agricultural practices that protect the environment while boosting productivity. We focus on land restoration, water conservation, and biodiversity to ensure that Africa's food systems can withstand future environmental challenges.

6. Partnership and Collaboration for Change
Collaboration is key to the success of our initiative. We work with local governments, international organizations, farmers' cooperatives, and other NGOs to create a comprehensive food system that serves the needs of African communities. Together, we aim to build a future where no one goes hungry and everyone has the opportunity to thrive.

Human Rights and Education

Human rights education promotes values, beliefs and attitudes that encourage all individuals to uphold their own rights and those of others. It develops an understanding of everyone's common responsibility to make human rights a reality in each community.

Water & Natural Resources

Water and Natural Resources

Our NGO is dedicated to improving access to clean, sustainable water sources across Africa. We focus on developing and implementing innovative water management systems, including rainwater harvesting, efficient irrigation, and groundwater extraction technologies. By promoting responsible stewardship of Africa's natural resources, we aim to ensure communities have reliable access to safe water while preserving ecosystems for future generations.

Waste Management Tech for Africa

Our waste management initiatives harness cutting-edge technologies to address Africa's growing waste challenges. We develop sustainable solutions for recycling, waste-to-energy projects, and community-based waste collection systems. Our goal is to create cleaner environments, reduce pollution, and promote the circular economy by turning waste into valuable resources that drive local development.

Natural Disaster Relief

Natural disasters such as floods, droughts, and landslides are increasingly frequent and devastating across the globe due to climate change and environmental degradation. Our NGO is committed to mitigating these impacts through comprehensive disaster relief and preparedness programs. We focus on developing structured systems and strategies to support victims before, during, and after disasters.

Our initiatives include building resilient infrastructure to withstand floods, implementing early warning systems to alert communities of impending disasters, and creating sustainable water management practices to combat drought. Additionally, we provide emergency response training and resources to local communities, ensuring they are equipped to handle and recover from natural disasters effectively.

By integrating advanced technology, local knowledge, and international best practices, we strive to reduce the vulnerability of affected populations, facilitate rapid response efforts, and support long-term recovery and rebuilding processes. Our goal is to enhance community resilience, minimize disaster impact, and promote sustainable practices that protect lives and livelihoods in the face of natural calamities.

This is our story

To improve the education experience of every African, Ukrainian, Sri Lankan, and Afghanistan child, secondary school education must be relevant and tailored to the individual capabilities of their children. In an environment devoid of violence, this is a critical goal that must be accomplished.

KeeperNGO’s approach to energy sector reform integrates reducing barriers to private investment and opening clean energy markets, strengthening governing institutions, reducing air pollution and emissions, and developing resilient power systems.

Nigeria has made modest progress in expanding access to water, sanitation, and hygiene to its rapidly growing population of 183 million people, the largest on the African continent.
